
Adah Barenburg is pursuing a MPAff at the LBJ School of Public Affairs and is an intern for the Travis County Planning and Budget Office synthesizing and visualizing data on the performance of criminal justice offices in Travis County. Prior to graduate school, Adah worked for the Washington State Joint Legislative Audit and Review Committee where she assisted with sunset reviews, tax preference reviews, and performance audits on a variety of topics including reviewing the Washington Statewide Reentry Council. She graduated from Western Washington University in 2022, with a B.A. in Political Science/Philosophy/Economics and a minor in honors interdisciplinary studies. Adah is helping to update profiles of correctional oversight bodies for the NRCCO project, worked on PJIL’s Aging Behind Bars project, and contributes to other PJIL projects as well.
