Michele was part of the amicus brief on behalf of academic experts on prison litigation and grievance systems, and the issues addressed in our brief were essential to the Court’s ruling. The case will have a big impact not only on the right of condemned people to have spiritual advisors as they are being executed, but also with respect to the ability of incarcerated people to file lawsuits about prison conditions more generally.
